Robert Zemeckis directed this movie in 1994 and Eric Roth wrote for the screenplay. It was based on the novel of Winston Groom. Film stars such as Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise, Mykelti Williamson and other well-known actors and actress starred in this movie.

The storyline is about a boy who has low level of IQ and limp. But he has a heart filled with gold. His name is Forrest Gump from Alabama. He has low level IQ but his heart filled with gold. Forrest is a boy with physical disability who can't walk without his crutches. Fleeing away from his bullied schoolmates made him having normal legs. He became a football star, war hero who achieved Medal of Honor, a shrimp boat captain and a successful businessman.

In this movie, we can see that Forrest became a football player from a limb because of his perseverance. Forrest split all of his assets in half and gave those to Bubba's mother because he value friendship. He also took care of Jenny so we can see that Forrest is faithful in love. the director used many historical events such as Vietnam War, Ping-pong diplomacy, Hurricane Carmen and others. This movie achieved six awards including Best Actor in the Leading Role and Best Picture.  This movie was famous for all of the above points and you should watch it again even you've done.
